How do i save a clean copy after track changesWhen you create a new document, track changes need not be active, however, if it is active, you can turn it off by following the steps below:
Open a new Word document.
Click on the "Review" tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
Click on the "Track Changes" drop-down menu.
Select "Change Tracking Options" from the menu.
How to turn off track changes in word office 365
In the "Track Changes Options" dialog box, select the "Advanced" tab. Under "Markup," uncheck the box next to "Track Moves."
Under "Formatting," uncheck the box next to "Track Formatting."
Under the "Inserted," "Deleted," and "Changed" sections, select the "None" option for each.
Click "OK" to save the changes.

These settings will now be the default for all new documents that you create in Word, and track changes will be turned off by default. However, note that this will not affect existing documents, so you will need to manually turn off track changes in those documents if they were created before you changed the default settings.
